Bangs Garcia is taking advantage of her free time after her afternoon teleserye Magkano ang Iyong Dangal? recently wrapped up. She told ABS-CBN.com that she is happy to be doing other things like out-of-town shows and the upcoming Star Cinema horror Cinco. “May five episodes ‘yung Cinco. Sa episode na Puso, ako ‘yung girlfriend ni Zanjoe (Marudo) and kasama namin si Pokwang. Horror-comedy ‘yung episode namin to be directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina.”
While she has yet to be offered a new TV project, the 23-year-old actress knows that after being given the chance to star in her own teleserye via Magkano, she has to allow other artists their chance to shine. “Madami ring artista sa ABS-CBN na dapat ding mabigyan ng chance tulad ng naibigay sa akin. Si Empress, siya na ‘yung nagbida, pumalit sa akin sa afternoon teleserye slot. I’m proud and happy for her kasi magaling naman talaga siya. I’m a good sport. Hindi ako nagmamadali. I trust that management has other plans for me.”
She also shared that she was recently chosen to grace the cover of a Filipino magazine based in Japan. Bangs said she hopes this will open opportunities for her to do a few shows in the country. “I’ll be appearing in the cover of a Filipino magazine based in Japan. May pagka-fashionista ang dating. Sabi nila baka ma-invite ako dun for the release of the magazine. Sana matuloy kasi hindi pa ako nakakapunta ng Japan. Trabaho rin ‘yun, and sana makakuha ako ng iba pang raket dun.”
With Bangs more focused on work at the moment, her love life is not her priority. Nevertheless, the sexy actress is happy that there are still guys out there who express interest to court her. “May mga nagpaparamdam naman. May mga artista, pero mas type ko ang non-showbiz e. Although mas may free time ako ngayon [to date], pero mahirap kasing magka-relationship tapos biglang maging busy sa taping. Priority ko pa rin ang work. I entertain suitors pero ayokong mag-commit ng kahit ano kasi baka in the end magtampo lang sila sa akin.”
