Xian Lim talks about Erich Gonzales and what’s keeping him busy these days

ABS-CBN.com asked Xian Lim why he and Erich Gonzales haven’t been keeping in touch lately, especially when they used to be really close in Katorse. Kris Aquino even revealed that she witnessed how Erich had been so attentive to Xian by the way she helped him drink water from his water bottle during the Ondoy relief operations last year. But the young actor insisted that they were just good friends even back then. “Ang ibig sabihin nung naging kami, buhay pa yung intriga. Ngayon patay na yung intriga kaya sinasabing break na kami. For the record, never naging kami. Hindi man kami nakakapag-usap masyado ngayon, we're just one text away. Pero siyempre busy din kasi yung schedule niya e,” he explained.

It’s been two years since Xian left San Francisco to try out his luck in the Philippines, but throughout his stay, he claimed that he never had any girlfriends. “Two years na ako dito pero wala pa akong naging girlfriend. Kahit date hindi muna sa ngayon. Sakit lang sa ulo yun e. Hindi naman sa panira ng buhay, pero hindi ko siya kailangan ngayon e. I keep myself busy naman. Kapag walang work nasa bahay ako just spending time with family especially now na nandito yung mom ko.”

Xian claimed that he hardly goes out since he only has a few friends here in Manila and he is more of a homebody. “Promise, totoo yun. Wala naman akong barkada dito e. And kasi hindi rin naman ako umiinom. It's hard to believe na hindi ako palalabas but that’s the truth. Wala rin akong close friends from showbiz. So most of the time ang kasama ko lang yung relatives ko, mga pinsan ko, pero sa bahay lang kami. Hirap paniwalaan ‘no,” he exclaimed.

In the meantime, Xian shared that he’s taking up piano lessons in between tapings for Rubi and Agimat: Ang Mga Alamat ni Ramon Revilla Sr Presents Elias Paniki. “I play mostly mga classical pieces kasi yung mom ko teacher siya ng piano so nakahiligan ko na rin. Siguro may konting voice lessons para pangpakilig ‘di ba? So yun ang pinagkaka-busy-han ko, walang love life. Actually gusto ko nga makapag-study ulit ako kaya lang mahirap din ipasok sa schedule. But of course I am glad that I have projects right now so enjoy lang muna ang showbiz,” he beamed.
