Maja Salvador denies being jealous about Sam Milby dating Marie Digby

Maja Salvador is thankful because the hard work that she and the entire cast and crew put into the afternoon teleserye Precious Hearts Romances Presents Impostor is paying off as shown by show’s consistent high ratings. “Grabe ‘yung kaba na nararamdaman namin nung nagsimula ‘yung Impostor at ngayon over-over na pasasalamat po sa inyong lahat dahil grabe sobrang taas po ng ratings na ibinibay sa amin,” she beamed.She admitted that in spite of their success, they’re still keeping on their toes to maintain the high ratings. “Andun pa rin [ang kaba] hindi nawawala. Sana ma-maintain namin ang storya na maganda, ‘yung ratings para patuloy na suportahan [at] subaybayan ng mga tao.” Maja also justified that people like the show because it is comedy-drama, which is a respite from the usual heavy dramas.The actress also confirmed that she is aware of the reports that Sam is allegedly dating international singer Marie Digby, but quickly added that she is in no position to make any comment on the actor’s personal business. She also said that there is no truth to claims that she supposedly got jealous because Sam is seeing Marie. “Wala kaming ilangan ni Sam. Wala kaming isyu. May isyu nga [na lumabas] na parang sumama ang loob… Wala wala. Sobrang okay kami ni Sam. Sobrang happy ako sa kung anong friendship meron kami.”She also explained that whenever she gets to work with any actor, her main objective is to make sure that they get to perform well and not because she wants to develop a relationship with her leading man. “Ang sa akin kasi kung trabaho, trabaho ang gagawin ko. Hindi naman kayo pinagsama para maging kayo. Kumbaga pinagsama kayo para gawing maganda ‘yung proyekto na ipinagkatiwala sa inyo,” Maja said. As to the rumors that she and Sam are extra sweet on the set, Maja said that people should not put any other meaning to it because as co-workers, it is normal that they show care for one another. “’Pag punta sa set, mag-alagaan kayo, hindi naman puwedeng pagdating sa set ‘yung sarili mo lang ang iisipin mo. Kung nakikita kaming sweet-sweet-an siguro masyado lang naming [kina-career) ang pagiging mag-asawa ng characters namin.”
