There have been reports that Angel Locsin was once romantically linked to Cogie Domingo who confirmed in his previous interviews that they had a brief relationship before the actress transferred to ABS-CBN three years ago. Luis Manzano, on the other hand, was quick to support Angel’s recent statement that she was never Cogie’s girlfriend in the place. “Angel will always have my loyalty. To be perfectly honest, sinabi na sa akin ni Angel lahat na hindi, hindi naging sila [ni Cogie]. I asked her before pa nagsilabasan yung issue. Angel will always have my loyalty and my trust. Baliktarin ni’yo man ang mundo, kay Angel pa rin ako maniniwala,” he told ABS-CBN reporters last June 15.It didn’t escape the media’s notice that Luis and Angel are closer than ever based on their regular sweet tweets to each other. In their recent tweets, they fondly recalled how they used to eat their favorite chocolate together. “Kapag kumakain ako dati, mayroon akong isang kahong Kinder Bueno. Alam niyang yun palagi ang favorite ko, kailangan ko ng Bueno every day. So kumbaga nag-reminisce lang kami, nagkulitan kami about Bueno. Definitely maayos ang conversation namin dahil maayos naman talaga kami ni Angel. Walang problema between us,” he stressed.When asked if it’s possible that their constant communication would bring them back together again, Luis claimed that only time will tell if that would be the case. “Siguro love has something about it that never fails to surprise us. It hits us when we least expect it. So minsan kahit gaano ka ka-heartbroken, kahit feeling mo hindi ka pa ready, ‘pag nand’yan yung pana ni kupido, mai-in love at mai-in love ka.” Since he’s not dating anyone else at the moment, it’s pretty obvious that Angel remains to be the girl who’s closest to his heart. “I’ve always been in love with love. I am a hopeless romantic e. For me it’s a main thing that makes the world revolve. So it’s safe to say that everyday, yes, I am in love. Pero wala pa talaga akong nililigawang iba.”
