Ahron Villena just wrapped up his third project for Lauren Dyogi’s business unit, Precious Hearts Romances Presents Love Me Again, which is already on its final week. But the former Star Magic artist is hoping that he will be given another project soon. “Oo nga eh, sobrang saya dahil ‘di ako nakakalimutan ng [production team behind] Precious Hearts Romances—from Bud Brothers, Somewhere In My Heart, tapos itong Love Me Again. Sana masundan ulit. Malay mo maisama ako sa Impostor. Hahaha! Hindi, wala pa akong sunod na project sa ngayon,” he said in a recent interview with ABS-CBN.com.
With the huge competition for roles, it’s really a blessing for Ahron to land roles every now and then. But given a chance, he’d rather be in a love team than go solo. “Kahit sino naman mas gusto yung may partner kasi ang sarap ng feeling na sa ’yo naka-focus yung love story ng isang series. Kaya nga sabi ko sana magkaron ako ng isang project na kahit hindi ako lead, yun bang may ka-love team na pwedeng support dun sa primary love team, parang ganon. Pero siyempre thankful pa rin ako na may mga projects na dumadating kasi kapag nababakante ako, minsan nangangapa ulit ako dun sa susunod.”
Given a chance, Ahron would like to be teamed up again with Maricar Reyes whom he first worked with in Bud Brothers. “Gusto ko si Maricar kasi simple lang siyang tao, very humble, sobrang bait and very sweet siya. Tapos siyempre nakapag-bonding na kami tsaka siya yung una kong naging steady love team talaga kahit sandali lang. Nabigyan ng lalim yung story namin noon sa Bud Brothers so feeling ko artista talaga ako.” He further shared that it would be nice to be paired with Pinoy Big Brother Double Up ex-housemate Sam Pinto as well. “I find her really pretty. Although hindi ko pa siya nami-meet ng personal, nakita ko lang siya sa TV. But of course, kahit sino naman ibigay sa akin na leading lady kung sakali, okay lang sa akin,” he beamed.
