Melissa Ricks's wish to put to rest the controversy of her supposed romance with Jake Cuenca is far from happening after the actor revealed on The Buzz yesterday that what he and Melissa has is something special, although they have yet to become an official couple. " Wala pa kami sa stage o sa level na 'yon. We're taking our time," Jake said. "Priority po namin ang trabaho." When host Kris Aquino asked Jake if he says I love you to Melissa, Jake replied, " Oo naman," though added that kissing the actress is something that is just in his dreams.
Jake also made a very interesting statement when he answered the rumor that he and Melissa supposedly have broken up. " Ang sa akin po, hindi ko po siya kayang pakawalan kasi ganun siya ka-espesyal sa buhay ko. Ang hiwalayan (issue) sa amin siguro wala kaming hiwalayang naganap o hindi pa kami pero isa siyang special na tao sa buhay ko at mahirap siyang pakawalan."
Before the interview ended, Jake thanked the viewers of the teleserye Rubi, which will be shown on an earlier timeslot starting this Monday (May 18), and will follow right after Kung Tayo'y Magkakalyo. The actor will also be the next featured actor on Agimat: Mga Alamat ni Ramon Revilla, where he will portray Elias Paniki starting May 29, Saturday.
