Claudine Barretto topbills F&H fashion show at A.Venue

No doubt about it, Folded & Hung (F&H) has made its mark after 10 remarkable years in the fashion retail industry. The famed fashion trendsetter label celebrated another milestone with a glamorous fashion show dubbed as “Streetcast” at the posh function room of A.Venue last Thursday night. Headlined by its roster of A-list endorsers namely, Claudine Barretto and Maja Salvador, the event was hailed a success with the massive people in attendance despite Angel Locsin’s absence.

First up on the runway was Tim Yap, who opened the program sporting his special collection of F&H graphic tees. His friends amongst the audience eagerly cheered him on as he exhibited an unaffected look similar to that of other male models. Then Joem Bascon wowed the audience with his chiseled abs underneath his matching leather vest and jeans. Controversial ex-sweethearts Mylene Dizon and Paolo Paraiso also garnered a warm round of applause when they appeared on the catwalk looking like the perfect couple in their checkered ensembles.

For the next round, a portion of the stage slowly went up to reveal a different Maja Salvador wearing a kick-ass black outfit and a funky hairdo. She was totally in character for the rest of the show but her “good girl gone bad” attitude proved to be a nice change from her usual perky roles on TV. Other celebrities who were spotted onstage were Phoemela Barranda, Luke Jickain, Janvier Daily, and Zara Aldana.

No less than the Teleserye Queen herself graced the finale together with the President of F&H, Ronald Pineda. As always, Claudine exuded the very essence of the brand with her simple but stylish cropped dress and lacy stockings. Fireworks and a profusion of confetti aptly ended the event. Some of the stars who came to see the show were Cherry Pie Picache, Agot Isidro, Angelu de Leon, Meryll Soriano, Megan Young, Nicole Uysiuseng, Beauty Gonzaga, and Denise Laurel among others.

However, the rumor mill has it though that F&H tried to avoid further intrigues between their major endorsers Claudine and Angel by conducting a separate fashion show for the two. Is there still an ongoing rivalry between them or none at all? Keep it here for more juicy news including F&H’s “Streetcast Act 2” featuring Angel Locsin held Friday night at SM Mall of Asia.
