Angel Locsin is overwhelmed with Lobo’s Ani ng Dangal Award

Actress Angel Locsin said she couldn’t be happier with yet another prestigious award garnered by her former primetime teleserye Lobo. Last Friday, (February 26) the young actress, along with Director Cathy Garcia-Molina, personally received National Commission for Culture and the Arts’ (NCAA) Ani ng Dangal for Multimedia Award for the said program’s rather astounding excellence which has been duly recognized worldwide. And to further elevate the honor of receiving the recognition, the award itself has been presented to them by no less than the country’s president herself, President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.

In an exclusive interview with Showbiz News Ngayon (SNN), Angel gladly shared her humble appreciation of the said credit. Up until now, she admitted that she still couldn’t help but be overwhelmed by everyone’s recognition of their hard work. And in line with the great honor Lobo had actually brought her all these years, she said that she simply has all the cast and crew to thank for their truly undeniable success.

With her career now reaching new heights, on the other hand, even Angel’s former on-screen partner Richard Gutierrez simply couldn’t help but extend his joy for the young lady’s apparent achievement. In a brief interview with SNN, he candidly stated, “I’m very proud of Angel. I’m very happy for her that she had gone a long way.”
