Robin Padilla is open to becoming a regular Wowowee host

Positive feedbacks poured in when Robin Padilla graced noon-time show Wowowee last Saturday, May 16, where he became a guest co-host. Robin also announced on The Buzz yesterday that he will continue to cover this week for Willie Revillame, who is still on an indefinite leave. Wowowee co-hosts — Pokwang, Mariel Rodriguez and Valerie Concepcion — were all praises toward Robin, whom they described as kind, down-to-earth, and a natural host.

Robin’s mom, Eva CariƱo, who was very excited for her son, came to ABS-CBN and was even part of the audience last Saturday to give him support. “Alam mo ba kagabi hindi ako makatulog sa tuwa o sa nerbiyos,” she said in an interview with The Buzz.

While it is still uncertain if Willie would return to the Wowowee soon, there are rumors that Robin could be the host’s possible replacement. When asked if he will accept to become the new Wowowee host if he was offered the post, Robin replied, “Pwede naman kaming dalawa ni Ka Willie.
