Acoustic singer Aiza Seguerra returns to acting in another tear-jerking episode of Maalaala Mo Kaya. She plays the role of Myla, who’s being mistreated in her family just because she’s a lesbian. It’s like as if she has acquired a contagious disease with the way her mother (Gina Alajar) avoids her ever since they’ve had a huge fight because of what she has become. Their ever-increasing gap finally takes a toll on Myla as she turns to her friends who taught her how to use drugs instead of bringing her much-needed comfort. Her older brother (Dominic Ochoa) eventually learns about her vices and asks her to leave their home. Will Myla ever find a way to make peace with her family?
